Shaping Platform Redesign and Embedding Responsible-AI

Mixed Methods Research | Scalable UXR | Responsible AI

With over 6M customer accounts and 12M Floridians depending on its services, FPL’s full-scale digital redesign was about more than new visuals. It demanded usability, alignment with business priorities, and seamless adaptation at scale. I led UX Research across five key user journeys, standardizing evaluative protocols that boosted task success by 30% and doubled the speed of insights. To extend impact beyond the redesign, I introduced AI-powered research workflows and authored Responsible AI Guidelines, embedding responsible innovation into how the digital team works.

Personalized Audio-AI Experiences

Mixed Methods Research | Responsible AI | Concept Development

‘How can we incorporate AI into our services?’- iHeartRadio, 2023

I led UX Research with a mixed-methods, innovation-first approach, pairing user needs with value-driven design. This work shaped iHeartRadio’s first Generative AI–powered radio channels, boosting engagement among younger listeners by 200%. I also developed the first Responsible Audio-AI Guidelines, helping the team make ethical product decisions and positioning iHeartRadio as a forward-thinking leader in AI-driven audio experiences.

Benchmarking Longitudinal Survey

Viasat’s design system, Beam, had been growing for three years, but as it scaled, important questions about usability and adoption began to surface. I led the first-ever benchmarking study to evaluate the system’s experience, surveying 300+ users across five stakeholder groups. The research not only improved 3 of 5 key performance metrics, but also resulted in a scalable framework that now ensures Beam is periodically benchmarked for maturity, success, and future releases.
